So I learned today that german shepherds can be bred 'all-white', and suddenly the concept of Goulash being white and a shepherd wasn't so far-fetched. He was originally supposed to be a Pyrenees, way back in the begining, but his ears are definitely shepherd ears, so I combined the two.
Anyway, this is his stat page, so to speak (he never had anything official).
Goulash Age: Not much older than puppy age? Breed: German shepherd/Great Pyrenees mix Size: Gigantic -- he doesn't really realize how big he is, and hilarity ensues, rest assured. :| Disposition: Goulash is very sweet, and despite his size, isn't much of a guard dog (in which case he's about as useful as Scooby Doo). He likes to meet people (and wishes people like June would play with him. ): )
History: Goulash was a stray, found by VD, who had no intention of keeping the dog until Katsu found out and made him (he's so whipped). Goulash lives with VD. He will sit quietly with VD while he works, but as soon as Katsu is around he goes into tenspeed-happy-death-mode with tail strength that could give you a concussion.
Other: Favourite foods include proscuitto, bugs, and important documents.
I love Goulash, even more now... because I've always wanted a German Shepard. :V And a Shiba Inu... And a Chow, but that's another story 'cause this Goulash picture is rockin'! The face is very nicely done! Especially the tongue. :3
The coloring on this is superb. I absolutely love the textured shading and the way you used the colors. They all look like they belong together. The lines are amazing as well. This is just plain awesome, Toki. I envy your traditional skills. ;-;
As for the subject~ Goulash is very very cute. Big dogs are generally the most fun!

You're probably tired of hearing this by now, but, is there any chance we can stop so I can find some pants?
But you're doing fine so far. :V You could study dogs online, not necessarily stealing the image but just doing anatomy sketches. You've gotten much better with 3/4 faces and frontal faces with animals though! The eyes on this one look very nice too! And, although I don't think this ever needed changing, the fur looks so plush. :3 Animals with long muzzles are hard to get right. : x I've found that boxes like some books tell you to do don't help me, but if you can do that circle and square tactic, you could try that. Personally, I start with the eyes or nose and work it. With full bodies I do a quick ball for the head and stick skeleton so I don't push it off the page (which I end up doing anyway. Dx )

You did what to who for how many animal crackers?
June would like nothing better than for Goulash [and any other big dogs] to stay the hell away from her. XD
